Brett

Brett directs the Crypto and Society Lab (CASL) at the University of Pennsylvania. His research uses tools from cryptography and computer science — including secure computation protocols and blockchain technology — to address large-scale societal challenges around privacy, transparency, and trust.

Gerry

Gerry is a Full Professor of Information Systems at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business, a Senior Fellow at the Wharton School (UPenn), and a Research Fellow at the Luohan Academy. His research sits at the intersection of digital platforms, AI/ML, and cryptography. He co-founded the Crypto and Blockchain Economics Research Forum (CBER) and has been named to the Thinkers50 Radar as an emerging thought leader shaping the future of management and technology. He holds a PhD in engineering from Stanford and an MS from MIT.
